Dark Sky Alternative Weathergraph Shines on the Apple Watch
To help create a custom watchface, there is a number of beautiful complication available to add. Easily my favorite is the large central chart for the Modular watchface that showcases temperature, wind speed/direction, and much more in an easy-to-read format.
On the Apple Watch, you can also view a real-time rain and snow forecast. The Nowcast is updated every 15 minutes. It will soon be added to the iPhone and iPad version.
And when you’re ready to go off-grid, the app is offline capable. It will cache the last acquired forecast for up to 24 hours, allowing you to go outside a Wi-Fi or cellular network and still see the most recent data on both your iPhone or Apple Watch.
Dark Sky fans will also enjoy a recent update to the iPhone and iPad version. Weathergraph has added a vertical layout similar to the dearly defeated app. It shows the weather conditions in two-hour intervals for up to three hours ahead. Temperature labels on the right side form a chart.
With the layout, you can also see the sunny hours highlighted. Tap the row in the daily forecast to see a detailed hour-by-hour forecast for that date.
You can also view the weather forecast without even needing to open up the app on your iPhone or iPad. There is a number of both customizable home screen and lock screen widgets.
Weathergraph is for the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. It’s a free download on the App Store.
There is also an optional Weathergraoh Pro subscription. That’s $19.99 per year or $59.99 for a lifetime use.
Subscribers can unlock additional weather sources like Apple Weather and Foreca, view the Nowcast, and unlock all of the app’s options and styles.
